Solar Waffle Pavilion

During this project I was tasked with creating a pavilion, with a waffling aspect to help diffuse the light coming through. The requirements for this project were to have aspects that were waffled and parts that were solid. For this project I started with an extrusion, and then took different flowing shapes that turned the bottom portion into a place for people to sit and relax in the pavilion. With having a 20’ by 20’ space to work with it allowed me to provide a place for multiple people to stop and enjoy the outdoors to relax and read.
